Are your pool toys, Puddle Jumpers, pool towels, and noodles hanging all over your backyard? Make this pool organizer and keep it all orderly.
It’s inexpensive and really efficient. If you know how to nail in a screw, then you can manage this DIY pool organizer project.
Get Ahold of a Palett
The palett didn’t cost anything; I had it on hand as I had recently ordered new furniture. Next time you see some paletts being unloaded at your local grocery, ask if you can grab one. You may also have a neighbor that recently ordered large furniture and has one on hand as well (They’ll probably be happy there’s one less to get rid of).
Screw In the Hooks.
I had these hooks at home, but you can get plenty of hooks here. Screw them in. Then spray paint the entire thing white or whatever color you like.
Add the Buckets.
I got these buckets similar to these from The Dollar Tree. I chose buckets that have holes in the sides and drilled additional holes in the bottom so when we dump the water toys in there, or anything that’s wet, the water drains out.
Hang It Up.
I used these reusable heavy duty clamp cable ties to hang up the palett on the fence. Easy!
That’s all there is to it. Pool noodles fit within the slats of the palett in the back. You can also hang this higher up, so there’s more room for towels (hanging from the bottom).
Really awesome post! Can’t wait to try making it. All I need now is the pool 😉
