Here at BCP, we love hearing stories like this – stories of a mother who is compelled to start a company after experiencing a struggle. She didn’t want anyone else to have trouble finding clothing to fit a husky boy. So: Mofi was born. Read until the end!
Chaya tells us, “I started Mofi, a husky boys clothing line, because I had such a hard time finding my 8-year old son formal clothing that fit well without needing adjustments and alterations. I believe every boy should be able to find classy comfortable clothing that looks good and fits well.”””

Let’s hear the rest of her story and inspiration, because it’s so moving and powerful: “I can relate to moms of husky boys and the struggle and frustration they face when shopping for their sons’ clothing. Every pair of pants must be altered, even if they are a husky size. The day of my brother’s wedding I had to wait for his suit pants to be finished with alterations and tapering, until 3pm. My husband was hospitalized suddenly last year, and the same day my son’s Rebbe called me that his clothing doesn’t fit and I need to buy him clothing that fits (like I got a full-on speech). I was so overwhelmed about my husband’s situation and then feeling stressed about where to buy my son new clothing. In a panic I ran to the mall knowing in the back of my mind, that I wouldn’t be able to find anything in stores especially with three kids in tow. I got maybe one polo shirt and the rest I ordered online but the struggle and frustration of this incident as well as many others is what really pushed me to start this husky boys clothing line.”
