Do you need to wipe your panini maker clean after every sandwich? Have lots of burned avocado and cheese on the grates? No more.
Sometimes, we learn great hacks just from hanging around each other. When we first saw Renee put a panini inside parchment paper before adding to panini maker, Esti and I were like, “OMG! Game changer!”
Renee and Leah were like, “What’s new about that? We do this all the time.”
Sometimes, a little trick is self-evident to one person but totally enlightening to another.
The next time you make yourself a sandwich avoid the cheesy mess and need to clean up after use.
You can wrap the sandwich in parchment, or simply place the parchment in the panini maker as shown and insert your sandwich.
The results will be just as toasty and just as good.

Cannot believe you didn’t know this hack… ???? I use it on my grill pan as well, you still have to wash it down but you cannot compare…

Haha! Yup, half of us knew it and half didn’t so I knew it would be useful for at least half of you! Good tip with the grill pan (but at least that can go in the dishwasher!).

Hey I never tried that!!!
It doesn’t get ruined?!
That’s what I love about this site/app, so many women sharing tips…. I keep learning new things…

You see? Two Dinahs, one knew this trick and one didn’t!

My friends and I used this tip way back in seminary… to avoid having to wash up the pizza maker with our bare hands late at night when the kitchen was locked. Memories!

Another great option, although this does sound easier: I have a sandwich maker from Amazon with 3 different inserts. One is the typical sandwich maker shape, one is a panini press and one is a waffle maker. They pop out and are easily washed. Gone are the days of sandwich makers that are perpetually dirty and get more gross as time goes on.
