It’s too warm for those winter knits. But too cool for barely-there summer baby clothes.
If you have a baby that’s beyond the stretchie stage, you might be thinking the same thing: I had my baby in warm knits all winter. Now she has the cutest new summer clothing… but those summer baby clothes are so skimpy! (On purpose, of course. We love pinching those chubby legs. There’s so much more to kiss in the summer!)
But what am I going to put on her until it warms up enough to wear them?
I like most of these sets because once the weather does warm up, they can double as pajamas so you can enjoy them throughout the season. They really work either way. I don’t want to be buying a wardrobe that’s just going to last for six weeks! But before they make it to the pajama drawer, they work as daywear. I also focused on sets because I don’t want to start matching tops and bottoms for this short season. With a handful of easy cozy legging sets, we’re “set.”

I am very happy with memoi triple roll socks. I sometimes unroll the socks under the leggings so its harder to pull off. At certain points in the winter, I even used tights if they were really insistent on pulling their socks off.
