Sure, there’s lots of desserts, donuts of course, and a salad bar and sushi bar. But the latest, most fun element of the sweet table is the Popcorn Bar.

An easy, neat way to set up the drinks…

And hot cocoa by each place setting. Just include those mini bags of marshmallows and a hot cocoa mix in each mug. Prepare an urn on the buffet separately.

See how the lamps here tie the table to the dessert table? And the vases too…they don’t need to be the same pattern to work.

Yes, of course there’s salads and sushi. What else do you need?

Aahh…of course. This is the most important detail that’s perfect right now! A popcorn bar!

  1. i just think the parents are looking for a way to spend their money
that they don’t have what to do with!!
I would tell them to give it to the schools that are struggling to pay their teachers……..
    just my opinion!!!!

  2. This post is about creative, fun ideas and ways to prepare a party. I loved the popcorn bar! This is not about the pro or cons of bat mitzvah parties nor what our thoughts are on spending money for these parties

  3. This is the second party related post where in the comment section mothers are complaining about it being “over the top”. Honestly, i can’t understand why so much “shade”. my bat-mitsvah was extremely extravagant because my parents could afford it. now as a mother I cant afford something super-extrevagant for my child’s upsherin, and I know that some parties will be more beautiful/ extravagant then mine. and you know what? i just ENJOY them. I dot lecture people where they should spend their money. The ability to look at something and say “wow thats amazing” without so much jealousy is something that seems to be lacking.
