24ozstore bought chocolate chip cookie dough or homemade
12squaresgood quality baking chocolate
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350F.
Make sure to grease your muffin pan well.
Place 1 oz partially thawed dough in each of the 12 wells of a greased muffin pan. Press the dough to take the shape of the bottom of the muffin “cup”. Then add a square of good quality baking chocolate on top of the dough.
Take one of the remaining dough balls and flatten it between the palms of your hands. Place the flattened dough on top of the chocolate square. Repeat until all muffin cups are filled.
Bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool for a few minutes and remove from the muffin pan using a knife to pull the cookies out, if needed.
Serve warm, with or without ice cream.
Notes
(For Shabbos, these stay perfectly molten when placed on top of a blech or in a warming drawer.)(If you don’t have good baking chocolate, you can use chocolate chips. Simply place in a Ziploc freezer bag and immerse the bag in hot water. The chocolate will melt in minutes. Snip a hole in the back and squeeze some melted chocolate onto the center of the cookie dough.)
