Graphic designer Adina Ribiat knew there was a need for an easy way for Jewish women to have access to custom labels.
“Friends and family used to always ask me to make them Purim labels. And though I began by doing it as a favor, it soon because a business because it was an obvious need. People would tell me, ‘I’ve always wanted this!’”
There were a couple of label-related problems that we all had to deal with in the past. Store-bought labels were never as nice and custom as we’d have liked. The only other option was to hire a graphic designer and then we’d have to to print more than we needed…and that was costly. At LabelItLabels.com, you can order as few as 30 labels for $15…you get a custom product at a super affordable price.
Last year, Label It Labels launched their pop-ups shops, debuting in Gourmet Glatt in Lakewood. At the Label It kiosks, shoppers could design their labels on tablets, then pick them up the next day or have them mailed.
“People loved being able to take care of their labels while grocery shopping. They brought in their boxes and ribbons to match up the labels to the packaging. Everyone said, ‘This is the best idea!’”
