Basic Icing
Ingredients
- 1 lb confectioners' sugar (3½ cups) + more as needed
- ¼-⅓ cup boiling water
- food coloring of your choice
Instructions
- Place the confectioners' sugar in a bowl. Slowly add the boiling water and mix. Add more confectioners’ sugar if you want a thicker, spreadable glaze.
