Seasoning if you are using oil instead of fat dripping:
½tspsalt
¼tsppaprika
⅛tspblack pepper
⅛tspgarlic powder
⅛tsponion powder
Instructions
Prepare French fries as desired.
Prepare the gravy. Heat oil with seasonings or fat drippings.
Quickly stir in potato starch until it’s incorporated well and cook until it has some color. Add in chicken stock. Cook, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. You want it to taste on the salty side.
All gravy colors will differ based on the color of your fat and chicken soup.
