Whipped Coffee
Ingredients
- ½ cup instant coffee (any variety or brand will work)
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup hot water
To Prepare a Cup of Coffee:
- ice
- milk of choice
- whipped coffee
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Using a hand mixer (or a standing mixer with the whisk attachment), whip until the mixture changes in color to a light taupe color and becomes thick like a batter. You are looking for a consistency like marshmallow fluff. This will take a long time, about 5 minutes on high speed. You can freeze the batter at this point for later use, or proceed to make the coffee.
- To prepare your cup of coffee, place ice halfway up a glass. Add milk to cover the ice. Top with a generous amount of whipped coffee and let sit for 2-3 minutes before serving. Stir gently to mix the flavors.
