Heart & Mind Matters makes those ‘get it’ skills teachable: helping kids build self-awareness, social smarts, and confidence they’ll use every day. Details, below.
You know those life skills we wish our kids just came with? Maybe how to handle frustration, to make (and keep) friends, or get through a rough day?
Meet Heart & Mind Matters, developed by Henny Moskovits, M.S. Ed, a social skills therapist. ‘I worked as a social skills therapist for years, helping my students by developing my own resources geared towards frum kids. And now, I want to help parents and educators teach their kids those skills that are so close, but somehow still elusive with a curriculum geared towards them! Learning social skills is not only possible, it’s fun.’
What It’s All About
Heart & Mind Matters takes Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) skills, things like self-awareness, talking through feelings, managing stress, and solving problems, and turns them into simple, hands-on lessons kids can learn and actually use every day.

Teaching these skills has never been easier than with Henny’s hardcover and digital programs. Each individual skill has it’s own module, with it’s own lessons, examples, and interactive games. You’ll get goals and objectives for each skill, practical tips, and visual aids. Check out all the skills here!
Why It Works
It’s not about sitting down for a lecture. It’s about helping kids experience these skills. Through interactive exercises and fun challenges, kids build confidence, empathy, and resilience without even realizing they’re learning ‘skills.’
It’s Customizable!
Start with a single skill, or grab the full bundle. The skills are in the recommended order, but you know your child best. Not sure where to start? Browse Henny’s amazing free resources and start there!
