DIY: How to Fry Perfect Taco Shells in Minutes

You asked us for it, so here’s how you can make your own little taco shells.

Here’s how to fry the wonton wrappers so they take the shape of taco shells:

You’ll need: A taco shell maker/taco press, which looks like tongs.

Keep your wonton wrappers covered while they defrost!

When you’re ready to fry, simply place the wonton wrapper into the taco press. It molds a taco into shape as it fries.

Heat the oil and dip the tongs into the oil to fry the wrapper until golden, about 1 minute.

Remove from oil, release onto a paper towel, and keep going!

Why do you need to cover the wonton wrappers while they’re defrosting?
