Do you have an outlet behind your bed or nightstand that needs to power too many wires? Not enough room for all of that? Let’s get it organized!
It’s great when you have an outlet right behind your nightstand and you can plug in your lamp and alarm clock. But what if that lamp has a bulky adapter? And maybe you want to charge your phone there, too. Adding a noise machine? How are we getting that jumble of wires neatly out of sight?

With a few small products, you can get all of this organized and you won’t have to see any wires dangling around.

The simplest item is this flat charging block that plugs into the outlet and has both a USB-A and a USB-C port. This takes minimal clearance and you can push the furniture almost right up to the wall. It leaves the second outlet open for either another flat block or a regular plug. But this is where the bulk starts building.
If you have something plugged in directly to the outlet, you will have a larger gap between the furniture and the wall. And if there’s a bulky plug, it’s even worse. Forget putting a power strip so you can plug in more devices.

That’s when you want to get this multi-outlet power strip that also has a flat plug. You then have several feet of wire to pull the strip wherever you can use it discreetly. For a nightstand, we just used some velcro strips to attach the power strip to the underside of the nightstand. You can do the same under a desk or a bed. The cord comes in several lengths, so you can choose the one that gives you the length you need. And if it’s too long, just fold it up and secure it with the included velcro tie.

This power strip has a combination of regular outlets and USB ports. That should cover all the devices you need to charge. But you also don’t want to deal with fishing the cords out from behind the furniture all the time.

That’s why you need these little wire holders. Stick them on to the back of the furniture strategically and they’ll hold the wire in place. If you’re using them for phone or 24six chargers like we are, you can just push the wire down to the holder when not in use and easily pull it out when you want to access it. And any wire that’s too long can be folded up and wrapped with a velcro tie to keep it neat. Then you won’t see anything under or on the sides of the furniture.

So neat and efficient!
