Some more easy prep, DIY activities to keep your toddler happy and busy.

Pipe Cleaner and Straw Activity
Age Level: 2.5+
You’ll Need:
- Different color straws (Younger children can do this with thicker smoothie straws and more adult supervision). It’s great for fine motor skills!
- Pipe cleaners to match the color of the straws
- Scissors
- Tape
Cut up straws to about an inch in size.
Tape down the pipe cleaners in a row on a table, floor or even a highchair tray.
Let your child match up the color straw to the pipe cleaner and let them slide it in.
Pipe Cleaner Bracelet Activity
Age Level: 2+
You’ll Need:
- Pipe cleaner
- Fruit Loops
- Optional: snack cup for traveling.
This is the best activity for so many ages! We also use this as a travel activity. I pack the Fruit Loops in a toddler snack cup which keeps it neat. It lets the kid have fun while in the car without making a mess. It’s fun and delicious too!
You can also keep it ready in a regular cold cup so that you have a ready-to-play activity at home.
Then simply start stringing!

Regardless of commissions that people get by linking posts they should also know the day to day of Amazon that consumers are faced with. The company has been going downhill so much so that now there are chargebacks on items you actually have returned. And they are starting to use incident forms you fill out and asking even for your drivers license to get your refund back! I have proof of all this as I was the recipient of all these cases.
It’s becoming a predatory and anti competitive company. Think twice and move to friendlier companies like Wayfair and Target. I am. No regrets and less dealing with horrible customer service. I can’t believe I said this sentence about Amazon but here I am. Forewarned is forearmed.

Pipe cleaners are an interesting idea. To make it a little harder, use yarn. Or boondoggle/gimp/lanyard is another good idea. Just have to tie the knots very tight. Advantage of this plastic cord is that it doesnt get soggy when the kids eat the cereal off their bracelets 😉
If you use string, tie the cheerio onto one end of the string. That way they can string the cereal until the tied cheerio without it coming out the other end!
Till they eat that end Cheerio or it cracks 🙂
Another idea if using string, is to tape one end of the string to a table so they string the cheerios until the tape. When its filled up, take the tape off and tie it:)
