It’s easier than you think to release that static and be on your way.
You had in mind to wear that outfit. But when you put it on, it’s full of static. So you quickly try to find a Plan B outfit or maybe a slip that might help, but there’s an easier solution. There are actually three easy solutions, and you don’t even need to have any special product on hand.
1. The Water Solution
Simply put some water on your hands and rub it on the inside of your skirt or on your tights and the static will break up.
2. The Dryer Sheet Solution
This one entails a trip to the laundry room. Get out one of those dryer sheets (such as Bounce) and rub it on the inside of the skirt.
This is the one solution you likely don’t already have on hand. It works amazingly! The “clothing spray” by Bounce (the same maker as your dryer sheets) is a wrinkle releaser but also works quickly and easily to get rid of that static.

What about Static Guard? Is that not used anymore?

Water needs to constantly be redone in my experience. I keep a dryer sheet in my desk drawer at work. It has a clean scent & is always on hand for emergencies!

Do these tips work on wigs too?

If you ever check back-for wigs use a brush that doesn’t have metal pins. I use the olivia garden brush that had wooden pins, it has eliminated most static.
