Most people take years to discover their dream job, usually stumbling through a few not-so-perfect positions until they discover the career path or job that really clicks.
You don’t have to wait, and there’s no need to waste time in trial-and-error until you find that perfect match.
Careerly will help you find the career path that gets you excited to wake up Monday morning–and you can discover what it is right now.

Careerly was launched four years ago when Malky Weinberger and Gitty Chein, business consultants at Projx, saw that their clients were experiencing high employee turnover because they weren’t hiring the right people to begin with.
There had to be a better way to match the right person to the right job–beyond matching job descriptions and resumes.

Careerly was founded with the goal of understanding the candidate and their natural ability and personality. Their coaches are certified by the Rockport Institute, the pioneer in aptitude-based career coaches. Using personality and aptitude tests, Careerly coaches get to know your natural abilities–they learn what makes you tick and where your true talents lie. They’ll discover which tasks will forever feel boring to you–and which get you excited.

Careerly tests 13 different areas, including your diagnostic and analytical reasoning, how you problem solve, and more. Based on these tests, they learn how your brain is wired and where you will excel!
“People really feel validated. They feel that, ‘This really explains me and gives me a window into who I am.’ That’s the point. We want to work with you and who you are naturally to be able to come up with a career that really aligns with your strengths instead of using parts of your brain that are not as strong. We want you working in an environment where your strengths are really shining through so that you can feel fulfilled and be the best at your job that you can be,” says Careerly founder Malky Weinberger.
Some Careerly Case Studies:
One young girl came to us—she wanted a career that was happening and she thought that she was not the office type. Through analyzing her skills, though, we realized she would be amazing at PR.
We set her up to begin a career at one of the bigger marketing companies where she could learn the basics of marketing before moving onto the next step.
One woman in her 60s had already been a physical therapist for decades–but hated it. She wanted a career change, but needed to figure out what she would be good at–but she also wanted to understand why she hated physical therapy so much. She needed the validation that dropping this career was actually right for her.
After personality and aptitude testing, we discovered that she actually had very low spatial awareness. That meant that ever ytime she had to work on a client and understand what muscles she needed to activate, it was draining her energy because she was using spatial awareness that didn’t come naturally to her. At the same time, we saw that her diagnostic reasoning and problem-solving skills were really high and they weren’t being utilized in her work.
She enjoyed the legal world and had a desire to help children. We suggested she become a court advocate to help people going through the court system by giving them guidance and help. She received the training she needed and is now enjoying her second career in law.
Another Careerly client was very skilled in many areas, but his company wanted to become a fundraiser. He didn’t see it–he needed validation that this would not be a good use of his skills, beyond his intuition. Through testing, we saw that his analytical reasoning was very high. This actually works against fundraising effectiveness as he would be overanalyzing what he would say before getting on each phone call.
He ended up taking a job in operations where he excelled in problem-solving and maximizing profitability. And he absolutely loved his new job! We were able to help him realize which parts of his brain would be activated – he needed to be solving problems and analyzing things all day long – fundraising was completely not in his skillset.
