Choose it once, and then enjoy your outdoor space all summer long. We’ve searched and found the most up-to-date highly rated outdoor furniture picks that Amazon will deliver.
There’s something about that outdoor furniture investment that simply pays you back. Every. Single. Day.
It pays you back when you go outside each morning to daven.
It pays you back when you find time to put your feet up with a book.
It pays you back when the whole family is gathered around, eating a simple summer dinner and playing a game (hopefully not one with too many pieces).
And it pays you back when your friends or extended family are over, and you have that perfect space to enjoy each other’s company. After all, who wants to sit indoors when it’s just so, so bliss outdoors?
Whether your outdoor space is a backyard, a patio, a deck, a balcony, or a front porch, there’s a furniture pick–and whether that will suit you.
A couple notes: Prices change often, and while we’ve tried to group items by price category, note that items might fall above or below the categories with or without shipping. Also, some products in higher brackets give better value (i.e. more pieces) than items in lower categories. The best value really depends on what your seating needs are and what space you want to fill.
A note about umbrellas: Most backyard sets are best enjoyed with an umbrella if you don’t have anything overhead. And while we have not included umbrella recommendations, note that your umbrella will need to be weighted down. There are a number of ways to do this. If you’re deciding between sand vs. water options, note that sand will provide more support vs. water–and since sand bags are very heavy, keep in mind that Home Depot or Lowes stores will deliver them! The very simplest way to weigh down an umbrella is to simply put the bags of sand over the base. Don’t open the bags. If you want to use a weighted base that you fill, fill it with sand and then water, as wet sand will be the heaviest and give max support.

Love these sets! I always want to buy but I’m super nervous to get outdoor furniture with fabric because of fear of animals getting them dirty, ruining them etc. . Anyone have any experience or tips to avoid these issues?

And what do you do when it rains?
They don’t get ruined? Would love to hear what ppl do

No it doesn’t get ruined, most outdoor sets are made from weather proof material that dries quickly when the sun comes out.
You can also buy furniture covers if you don’t want to wait for it to dry , but I never use mine because it’s so annoying to put on.

I have to recommend against cushions!!!!! I recently threw away a set that was so uncomfortable without cushions because I couldn’t use the cushions anymore. They got dirty all the time from rain and then moldy which didn’t come out in the laundry and I never managed to bring them in before they got rained on. I ended up sitting on the floor rather than sit on the chairs with or without cushions. Please learn from my mistake!!
