With this tip, you’ll still have them next week – and the week after!
In the beginning of the summer, you optimistically buy a pair of goggles for each child. A week into the swim season, you’re down by two pairs and the kids are fighting over the last one. Does this sound familiar?
The solution is a simple name tag like these from Label Land. But the secret is not to stick the tag to the goggle strap. It needs to stick to itself. So fold the label over the narrowest part of the strap and make sure to stick it together over the edge.
Between Carpools fan Chani Schonberger gave us the idea to add a piece of clear packing tape over the label for extra security, especially if the label edges are too small to stick together firmly.
Mamas, do this now. Before they lose the goggles. Because this is one battle you can win before it even starts!
Still need to buy goggles? Our favorites can be found in this post of summer essentials.

I do this every year, but I just print each kids name with my label maker. (ptouch). The labels are already laminated so all you need to do is fold the label over and stick it to itself.

After my kids losing so many pairs of goggle over the years, I decided to create a product to solve just this problem. Please check out my Swim Loops goggle tags at http://www.swimloops.com. They are fun, waterproof and will help get your kids goggle back to them when they leave them on the pool deck.

I have been wondering how to do this… I tried the labels, but did not think about sticking it to itself. Thank you!!
