Probably one of the most frustrating items in a house to clean, your stainless steel fridge CAN be clean and shiny!
I know I’m not the only one who has struggled with just the right method to get my stainless appliances shiny and fingerprint-free. I’ve tried products and methods and finally settled on this one that works really well in my kitchen.
You’ll need the following items for this method:
A spray bottle filled with a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water
Paper towels
Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish Spray (I don’t find the wipes to work as well)

The first step is to actually clean the dirt and oils off the stainless steel surface. This is where the vinegar comes in. It will cut through grease and dirt effectively – BUT you must make sure to wipe it off right away. If you let it sit on the surface for too long it can cause etching.

Spray the vinegar solution on the full surface and then wipe with paper towels in the direction of the grain. This is also very important because going against the grain can cause scratches in the steel.
This cleaning will leave the fridge looking very streaked and you might be panicking that you ruined it. You didn’t.

The next step is to spray the Stainless Steel Polish Spray directly onto a microfiber cloth and generously apply it to the full surface, again working in the direction of the grain.

Once that’s been applied, you’ll take a clean microfiber cloth and polish the whole surface – you got it – with the grain. Put some elbow grease into this step – you want to really shine it up! It might take a couple of rounds to make sure you don’t leave any streaks behind, but you should be left with a beautiful shiny finish when you’re done.
