When we asked our friends if they’ve ever been to Smash House Lakewood, we didn’t expect their eyes to light up with excitement.
“Great, fun food. My kids loved the boxes!”
“The burgers are amazing! My son loves the food there. I can have him write the entire review.”
“The food is so generous. You get more for your money there than any other takeout.”
“Fresh, delicious…we love the sandwiches, and the kids are always so happy too. They love the burgers!”
“We love to order, because the way the food is presented is so fun, it’s like the restaurant is transported home. But we love to visit even more when we can.”
Wow! We were sold. We started off with a delivered order and we saw: The Smash House gets it. They know how to feed a family, how to make a night out special, and even how to make ordering in feel like a treat. And, yes, the portions were super generous.
It wasn’t only the presentation–from the burgers (with “Smash Sauce”), to the crispy chicken (Or Chicken n’ Fries!) , to the sandwiches with great toppings (The Crispity Crunch!), the fries, appetizers (Blooming Onion or Popcorn Chicken!), and even the healthier options on the menu (like the Cobb Salad or the Grilled Chicken Wraps–yes, there’s plenty options!), each selection fresh and yum.
The Family Boxes are a specific favorite to share–with burgers, chicken, fries, and onion crisps, it’s an entire meal for the whole family.
This is our new go-to for that delicious, family meal with a fun kid-friendly atmosphere–but it’s also a great place if you’re going with friends or your spouse. The Smash House Lakewood is strictly a Lakewood Edition, with a menu designed for Lakewood standards and a great hechsher.
