  I would say it’s good for all ages that would read or you would read to them books with pictures. Maybe 2-8/9?

  It is really fantastic for all ages. When you read it to children who can’t read yet, the older ones hang around to see the pictures. In my experience, I had incredible conversations with my children from primary through 3rd grade. We always look to see “which is their favorite page.” They usually can’t choose – the nuance in the details of the illustrations are incredible. Such good discussion opportunities
  And when they were older, we referred back to the book about items we wanted to bring up. For me, it took the heaviness out of a heavy topic. It made it so easy.

This is one of the BEST books I have ever owned. I’ve owned it for about five years, as it was first introduced to me by a student. I read it like any other story book, but we always review the message at the end. My children are now 7, 6, 4, and 2. It’s a tremendous resource and one that every family should own. Unfortunately, many shy away from this uncomfortable topic, but the book explains the ideas so beautifully without any awkwardness. I highly recommend.

Highly recommend! We’ve had this book for a few years and it still gets picked at story time. I’m not great at bringing up these types of topics with my kids, and am so grateful that this book made it much much easier.

This IS the author. 🙂 My goal in writing this book was to save children’s lives. And it is, doing that, B’H! Please make sure that the children you love read it and learn what to do if a perpetrator of any age tries to touch them inappropriately. I get wonderful and grateful feedback from parents whose children knew how to handle these difficult situations. These guidelines, expressed in a clear, calm and upbeat way are vital for children of all ages.
