Closetry helped me revamp a couple of closets in my home… and I’m taking you along to show you the process.
During this post, I’m going to let you in… not just into my home, but into my… closets.
First, some background. As I mentioned in a previous post, last year I moved into a house with lots and lots of closets… that is, wire closets. Coming from an older house to a “Jewish” built house, I was just so appreciative to have all these closets in the first place, wire or whatever it was, it was fine. I had replaced the sagging shelving in a couple of small closets before Pesach, and that was it.
Then I met Levi and Avrumi Wulliger… and really, I was blown away by their closet passion and expertise. So much so that I wanted to do a test run. I wasn’t ready to overhaul the entire house, but perhaps we’d try one or two for now.
We thought it would be interesting to take you along on the process.
First, some background – Levi Wulliger has designed and built thousands of closets. Years ago, his closet experience began when he began building closets as a favor for family and friends, using materials from local stores. Fast forward to today, Closetry isn’t just a custom closet company – they’re also manufacturers, with a factory that uses the most state of the art machinery and best quality materials.
If you like to see behind the scenes, check out this video.

Here’s some of their work! (Not my closets!)
Because they are closet manufacturers, they are wholesalers too. Other closet companies actually come to them to manufacture the closets they design for their clients. With Closetry, you’re getting the product direct (yes, that means you’re getting the best pricing too).
I know that I’m skipping ahead, but when the materials for my two closets were being brought in to my house and installed, I was genuinely amazed at the precision and perfection. It was also super organized, which each piece labeled with a diagram of where it belongs. I think it’s so cool that you can design a closet on a computer and a machine will shoot out the pieces needed for the design.
I also noticed other attention to detail – the holes for the adjustable shelving are only in the areas where you would be adjusting the shelving. They’re not the whole way down – this way, the closets themselves look prettier and neater, because there aren’t unnecessary holes.
Which closets would you pick if you were doing just two? The master is first, of course. Let’s go through the design process. Since Closetry knows closets, I trusted them to make a first draft and I’d tweak it from there.

This was the layout that was perfect for me (my husband would also get some of the hanging space). It was so easy to describe my needs and the amount of each “type” of hanging I needed and have Closetry tweak it to perfection.

I also decided to do a mudroom closet I have near the back entrance of the house. It’s a regular-sized closet, but that’s where the backpacks and coats are dumped (on the floor) when all the kids come home. It’s usually exploding with a pile of shoes, backpacks, homework, and coats.
I left a rod in one cubby section because I need space to put the “outgoing” items that need to go to the tailor or dry cleaners (need me to take something to the cleaners? It needs to be “in the spot!”). I also like to put the new dry cleaning there when I walk in the house.
Since I have big boys and little girls right now, this was perfect for my needs. The big boys would use the upper cubbies for hats, korachas/tallis bags, and sefarim (their coats go in the grownup coat closet). The girls would use the lower section for backpacks, coats, and shoes. We’d add ample hooks for everyone.
With the plans done, Closetry got to work creating the closet. Installation day was scheduled for the following week!
The mudroom was first. (I should have taken a before picture for a more extreme before and after, but the kids were already out of the house when we started the install.)
Naftali was the lead installer on the job, aided by Gustavo. The installation didn’t take long (the boards really click together perfectly), but they still take the time to go over it and make sure everything is in perfectly and solidly.
Let’s go check out the final product!
The screw holes are covered (so everything looks neat and pretty), the area is cleaned up, and everything is double checked to make sure it’s all perfectly straight and aligned.

How cool is this? I love the colored edging option. It adds a lot of style.

And the little details.

Here’s some more mudroom inspiration (these are not mine!)
Should we go upstairs to check out how the master is coming along?
Now for the installation!

I stuck a few items in so you can get a better idea of how functional this is (we’ll leave it at that ;). Once I finished filling it back up and got everything off my bed and into its new home, I honestly felt like I had added another room to my home. I love my new space (the closet feels sooo much bigger) and my kids love having a place – and not a pile – to put away their things.
The Wulligers had said that new closets are “life-changing.” I was incredulous. I knew it was a luxury, something I’d appreciate when I did install them, but not something necessary for now. Now that the closets are installed, I appreciate the space and the function so much.
It’s now a few weeks after the installation, and I see just how much I’m enjoying these closets. Whenever my son comes home from yeshiva and has a place to put his koracha (tallis bag), hat, and sefarim, he says, “The mudroom is geshmak.” (And their stuff is not strewn on all the surfaces in the house.)
And, of course, I’m enjoying my own closet more than I ever imagined I would.

They are the best in the fileld!
I agree:)
I had an amazing experience with Closetry! Highly recommend!
Do they help you figure out the best layout for the space?
Yes, they will come down and figure out a design on the spot. I used them for my entire house. Mordy was my installer and was amazing. The job was completed extremely quick.
Yes. They did an initial layout and then we tweaked it for my needs.
what is their price range?
I’m looking into closets, but i’m on a pretty low budget. Do you feel comfortable sharing the basic pricing structure? It would be very helpful!
For all those asking about pricing, just be in touch.
Note, with any closets, drawers make closets more costly.
Hanging space is the least.
Just used them for my house in Jackson. Our master closet came out beautiful. We also had our laundry room done which really helps keep everything neat.
Levi and Donny did a great job! My closets came out beautiful!
