I admit, I don’t think I would make a very good teacher. I was much happier sending my children off to school, while being able to write in a quiet house, and then welcome them home after a long day. But, alas, that is not our luxury today.
Now we all need to wear so many hats. When we thought our children were going to miss two weeks of school before Pesach, perhaps we could let the schooling and skill-building take a break for a little bit. But that wasn’t going to work long term.
Especially for our 4 through 7-year-olds who are learning to read. Kriah, phonics…both Hebrew and English reading are not things we can let slide.
We want our children to keep gaining skills, and be good, strong readers. But what’s a mom who has no experience to do?
Thankfully, Sara Gross’s revolutionary ReadBright program is now available to the public with a 15% off special! The series of readers and workbooks make it foolproof for mom–and even fun for your child–to keep gaining skills.
Sara Gross is reading specialist and consultant with over 30 years experience. A few years ago, her innovative and effective methods were adapted into the ReadBright program that’s currently being used in over 200 schools.
“The thought was if we had a great reading curriculum for general education, there wouldn’t be so many children having trouble. The program is hands on, multisensory, and exciting for the teacher and child. The program is being used in both general and remedial classrooms with incredible success.”
“I’d be completely lost if I needed to teach a child to read. I don’t know anything about phonics and skills and how they should learn,” I told Sara.
“You don’t need to know anything. Recently, I received a letter from a Jewish mother in Russia. She had tried so many things to try to teach her child to read English on her own; she had teachers come to the home and had also sent her children to school to learn English. It wasn’t working. She had no skills and didn’t know how to go about it herself. Finally, she got a hold of these books. And she taught them easily, by following the lessons step by step!”
Want your child’s reading skills to be enhanced, with no hands-on work needed? The Read Bright readers are fun to read, even if not used in conjunction with the rest of the program. Your child will practice their phonics skills while enjoying entertaining stories. Shop the readers here.
