A Helping Hand is your loved one’s companion and concierge, all rolled into one. Why this short daily support will be perfect, below.
Did you spend time with extended family over Yom Tov? Did you notice that your parent/uncle/aunt/grandparent looks like they could use some more support?

A Helping Hand was created to help seniors who need something in between full-time support and ‘are totally fine on their own.’ It’s daily support, or however-often-you-want-it support, from a frum companion who just wants to be there to support your loved one, providing personalized check-ins, companionship, technical support, and more.

Chaim from A Helping Hand explained an interesting phenomenon he noticed. ‘My background is in healthcare, and specifically homecare. I noticed something happening again and again: an elderly person would be denied services at home and then their family would have to make a decision. Either they could pay for homecare out of pocket, which added up quickly, they could take over the care themselves, which they just weren’t always technically able to do, or their loved one would just have to manage without that support. And I realized, we need a middle ground.’

Here’s how it works! Helpers go into your loved ones home however often you need them, and for however long (typically an hour every day). While there, the helpers:
- Check the house. This is a physical check-in, to make sure all is running smoothly.
- Keep your loved one company. Companionship is so important! A Helping Hand makes sure that their frum clients have frum helpers with a pleasant disposition to spend some time with your loved one.
- Update their Wellness 360 Profile. With the Wellness 360 Program, the helpers take care of the technical details to connect seniors with what they need. Whether it’s a grocery order, a doctor’s appointment, a call to the plumber, or any service request, your helper’s got it covered.

Your loved one stays independent, while their helper updates you daily, keeping you connected and informed. A Helping Hand is that perfect middle ground, a helping hand in your loved one’s home. It’s preventative help, an extra piece of support for your loved one.
