Simple, Wholesome Meals for the Nine Days

If your family enjoys dairy, it’s simple.

The Nine Days is not a time that we want to be looking for new dairy recipes. Nope, we’re not looking for indulgent, dairy things like we do for Shavuos. That defeats the purpose.

The days are long and hot, and we simply want to feed our families while keeping things simple and satisfying. Some of these ideas might help you plan your meals in the week ahead.

For more Nine Days menus, see this post.

Another idea-If your family enjoys gefilte fish, defrost a loaf and form into balls to cook in place of meatballs in your favorite sauce.

Bagel shop style… bagels with spreads, such as tuna, egg salad, etc. Plus a salad or iced coffee… kids loved, everyone was full.

I do that every second week! Kids love it! My son chose that as his birthday supper!
I do it with a quick salad or just sliced veggies.
