Our Favorite Items for Boys Going to Yeshiva

The zman is ending…and even though it feels premature, this is the best week to get the boys all they need for the new zman before they go off to camp.

You know what the stores are like at the end of August and everyone hurries to get what they need. There’s barely a day or two between the time when mesivta and bais medrash age boys come home from camp until the zman starts.

Plus, if you have a boy going out of town, there’s even less time, as travel needs to be taken into account.

That means…the best time to get them what they need, including any fresh clothing and sefarim is NOW.

For boys going out of town, this packing list is a great guide: What to Pack for a Boy Going to Yeshiva Out of Town.

These are some of our recommended picks, both for clothing and odds and ends they’ll enjoy having in the dorm.

The T.O. Performance Blazer

The boys are talking about this new blazer from T.O. It’s made from T.O.’s popular performance fabric. It’s breathable, moisture-wicking, wrinkle-resistant fabric designed for movement, travel, and long days on the go. It’s lightweight yet polished, with a sleek modern cut and technical stretch, it’s the ultimate balance of comfort and class. Whether he’s in yeshiva, davening, at the office, or on the road the performance blazer is the only blazer you’ll ever want to wear! See boys sizes here.

Flex Pants

See our guide to all the different types of stretch pants here. Still, the Flex version is still the number #1 favorite. Get your sizes and colors before they sell out! Boys who have gone back to dress pants and even gone back to flex, missing the comfort, wearability, and durability (traditional pants tend to get shiny after awhile). They look like tailored dress pants, yet are as comfortable as anything, plus they come pre-hemmed, wrinkle-free, and ready to wear. See men’s sizes here.

T.O. Performance Pants

While Flex Pants are dressy, lightweight woven pants with a bit of stretch, offering a polished look and added comfort, Performance Pants, on the other hand, are made from durable, moisture-wicking polyester and designed for flexibility and movement, making them great for active days. While both offer stretch and a tailored fit, Flex Pants lean more formal, while Performance Pants are more versatile and functional for everyday wear.
