Kesher Shidduch is bringing dignity to the shidduch process–and giving lots of attention to our singles. This is how they are changing how shidduchim are done.
There are so many singles out there, waiting for calls, for dates, for someone to think about them, to suggest something.
When a parent first enters the shidduch process for a child, it’s daunting. They start looking for shidduchim that want to meet their daughter and get referrals, they call, introduce themselves, leave messages, wait for call backs…it can be a humbling process.
Kesher has changed this in a respectable and brilliant way–but who is Kesher?
Kesher is a group of 36 top shadchanim who got together to make a change. Instead of working on their own, brainstorming alone–they bring their heads together, making it more likely for more relevant options to come about.
Any boy or girl from Lakewood can meet the Kesher shadchanim–and they don’t just meet one, two, or three. They come meet one-on-one with as many as 15 shadchanim! Girls feel cared about, they feel like they’re getting a tremendous amount of attention, and that there’s a lot of work being done on their behalf.
And it’s not just “meet and move on.” It’s after the meetings that the work starts! And shidduchim are redt!
Why are Kesher shadchanim different? Why are they relentlessly giving you all the attention? It was Rabbi Moshe Bender who had the idea, “Let’s pay a salary to our shadchanim on the front lines. It’s a hard job–let’s pay for the time they put in.” This supercharged the organization and brought it to the next level.
There’s more people, more people thinking, and more people getting involved–for all our singles.
If you ever thought, “How can I help my neighbor with a single daughter/son?” This is it–even if you’re not a shadchan.
