We might still be wearing sweaters and turtlenecks, but this is when the stores have t-shirts with long sleeves on the shelves.
We’re not thinking about wearing t-shirts right now, but when the weather warms up, nothing is better than an affordable long sleeved t-shirt. And by that time, the big box stores have already moved on to short sleeves (or no sleeves at all).
At this time of the year, the stores are transitioning from winter to spring – and that means t-shirts that can fit our tznius standards. We rounded up some options and not one is over $30!

I prefer three-quarter length sleeves to long sleeves. It would be great to see a round up of those.
Esti says
Those usually come a bit closer to spring. We can keep an eye out for those.
Tova says
Thank you! I’d love to see 3/4 sleeve pics too!
Mindy says
Just have a seamstress hem the sleeves! Easiest thing and not very expensive. You can also get the sleeve to hit just where you like it. Some 3/4 are too long or too short for some people.

Thank you! Great Round up!

Would love a maternity round up

Just wondering about the neckline? Any of these are tried and true in that department?
R says
Most necklines are NOT good as is. I’ve tried a bunch of these. Some you can easily tack, though (depending on how it fits you)
CR says
How fitted are they?
Chaya says
can you do one on collared T-shirts?
some camps require it for their staff
Tzippy says
I would love that too!

Me too!! My daughter is only allowed to wear collars!

Sweetheart, now is not the time to get your summer t-shirts! It’s still January!
All kidding aside, can we please have a break from this endless loop of shopping and hamster-wheeling and just enjoy the snowflakes?
Am I alone in this?
Esti Waldman says
Yes, it’s January – and that’s when the big-box stores (aka lower budget than your local boutiques) put their long sleeve tshirts on the shelves. By May, it’s all short sleeves – or none at all. So for those who prefer to spend less, planning ahead is the way to go. If that doesn’t apply to you, you can just move past this post.

I feel like whatever bcp does they get flak–so many posts that cater to higher-end shoppers get complaints for showcasing expensive items. I don’t spend a lot on clothing, so I take a peek and skip. Now that bcp posts a budget item, it’s the wrong time of year 😛 I shop/spend when I need for what I need, without feeling pressure, and I appreciate seeing these posts even if I don’t need something new (and I sometimes even go back and search thru the site because I know they’ll have something awesome, such as the H&M posts that I refer back to when I’m ready to get a new piece for my wardrobe). If you don’t need it now, realize that it may be helpful for someone else…
Thanks bcp for your entertaining posts, even when I can’t spare the time for the fancy recipes and can’t afford the fancy home goods 🙂

Thank you so much for this amazing post! So many great choices in excellent prices. It’s really smart to stock up now for the summer so we’re not stuck paying exorbitant amounts for essentially disposable T-shirts. Another great benefit is that when the warm weather sneaks up on us we already have them at home and don’t have to go scrambling. Thanks for thinking ahead for us!

For those who need to wear collars in Sem, just buy collars and wear under the tee. This is the best way to handle hot days.
G says
for those that want 3/4, you can always have the seamstress hem the sleeves!
Linda says
I noticed one tee had a comment about the neckline. Can anyone post info on the tees if you know anything. Or if a tee is simple to adjust. My girls refuse to wear shells under a tee. Thanks!

This is funny because it was 70 degrees in Baltimore today and there is still snow on the ground! Great roundup as always!

can you post links to plus size t shirts?
