Suitcases and moving boxes are really not practical for bulky, soft things that are lightweight, yet take up tons of space. Moving totes are the answer.
So how do you pack all those bed linens, pillows, blankets, comforters, and towels when moving? These totes are even good for your folded clothing too! And, yes, they’ll fit clothing on hangers.
If you’ve ever moved, then you know that bedding is one of those things that’s the hardest to move. These bags make it easy. They’re light and easy to carry, so if you’re moving locally, you can even move over all the soft, light items yourself and reuse the bags multiple times. They’re also perfect for bringing linens and folded clothing to a summer home/bungalow.
Plus, since they’re soft, it’s much easier to fit them in a car….way easier than that box or suitcase.
And they’re really inexpensive. Note that there are thinner totes and thicker versions. If you’re moving once, the thinner ones are fine. If you move every year, then the thin ones might rip after you’re throwing them back and forth for a couple of seasons.
When space is a premium, Space Saver bags can be the answer.
Simply place your items in and suck out the air to save space.
Though they’re not recommended for air travel, as they become very dense once the air is sucked out, they’re great for packing clothing and blankets compactly for when space is a bigger premium than weight (note that while Space Saver bags do help fit more things in a camp duffel, the duffel will get quite heavy if they’re used to pack a lot of things).
While these are also great for storing extra linens/blankets/pillows at home, we also love this more durable long term solution for storing extra linens.

Hi! Are these durable enough to store off season clothes in a garage?

Can any of these bags be folded up really small so they don’t take up a lot of space when not being used?
