We’ve created fun new games your family will enjoy this Hanukkah. Download Driedel Bingo and Scratch Off Prize Cards here!
You know the “stuff” that’s left over once a school project is done? Usually it’s a bunch of random supplies. One time, however, after a project was done, we were left with these scratch off stickers.
I thought they were adorable–and Chanukah was approaching. Could they somehow be used for a fun Chanukah game? Kids love scratching off stickers!
After some brainstorming, this cute Driedel Bingo game was born! You can download and print it below. The only other thing you’ll need to play are the scratch off stickers, Chanukah gelt, and a driedel!
Start off by handing everyone a blank board game.
Players should fill in the blank board with the letters of the dreidel Χ ΧΧΧ© + some FREE’s (decide how many Free spots there should be allowed per board. Two to four is a good amount. You can make it easier for younger players by adding more.
Once the board is full, add the scratch off stickers on top of the entire board. I like using these stickers because they come on sheets with the exact amount needed for one board game. So each player gets one sheet vs. a roll. If you want to get right to the game, you can do this step ahead of time.
Now swap your board with another player or pass your board to the person on the left, etc.
Set out some chanukah chocolate coins, or pennies and a dreidel. Now you are ready to begin playing.
The first player spins the dreidel.
They then proceed to scratch off ANY one circle on the board.
Is it a match? Add a coin!
If the driedel landed on a ‘gimel,’ and that circle they scratched off matches, they can place a coin onto that spot! If it does not match, pass the dreidel to the next player. Whoever gets 3 coins in a row WINS! For a more challenging game, you can play until someone has four coins in a row. The row can be up and down, sideways, or diagonal.

Very cute! i like how the dreidel part of it makes it chanukahdig. A lot of the games I am hearing are very fun but have zero to do with chanukah!! SO if you are playing any of those make sure to serve FRIED donuts!!

HI SO CUTE!!! BY THE BOARD GAME IF I SPIN FOR EXAMPLE GIMMEL AND I SCRATCH A HEY AND LATER I SPIN A HEY DO I COVER THE HEY THAT I ALREADY UNSCRATCHED? (SORRY A BIT CONFUSING LANGUAGE…)
Shaindy Menzer says
Hi. No you don’t cover a letter that was not a match. The goal is to get 3 coins in a row. You only get a coin if you match what you scratch.

Was really fun for different ages! The scratch off part gave it a fun twist that regular bingo doesn’t have. Thanks for the great idea.
