We look forward to seeing table inspiration every season – and this one is beautiful in its classic simplicity.
On the same day that we invited Devorah Rubin from Adorn Your Table to set this Purim table, after we shot it, the table was dismantled quickly, and suddenly… it was Pesach! (Yes, it seems like it happens almost that quickly in real life too).
This is what we love about this table: It’s completely classic. And that’s what we want. But we still do need guidance in achieving that beautiful simplicity.
There’s another thing we like, which we find very practical. This table combines real + disposable. While for Yom Tov, we try to use as much real as possible, if one is hosting a big crowd, or simply doesn’t own enough real Pesach dishes, then elevating the disposable is a real necessity.
And that’s what Devorah accomplished here.
First, the tablecloth. Yes, this look works with any white tablecloth that you already own. Or, if you do want something new for Yom Tov, go with a lace cloth. You can see Adorn’s picks over here. The one shown in the photo is the Diamond Lattice Lace (it’s lined, so no need for a white cloth underneath).
Devorah also used embroidered napkins (napkins are a great gift too).
Now, the table setting. This one features Clear + Gold Rim Charger + White Round Plate with Gold Rim + White/Gold Lattice Accent Plate + Clear Wine Cups + Stemless Goblets.
Love the combination of stemmed and stemless drinkware. Looks so real.
The flatware here is real, but you can achieve that classic look with the Venetian style from Luxe.
The vase is a real find from H&M. Right now, only the tall style is in stock–it’s a real, nice-sized beautiful showpiece. We hope the other sizes come back in stock! For more beautiful options, see the rest of the glass collection at H&M over here.
We’re taking inspiration from the color palette of these florals too (Notice: There’s no hydrangeas… we want our arrangements to last for the whole three day Yom Tov).
