The Cozy Winter Chanukah Table

Can you picture yourself, sitting at this table, enjoying a special, memorable Chanukah night with your family?

Perhaps you’re sipping hot cocoa. Or your family or guests are enjoying a steaming, hearty soup while enjoying each other’s company. With Cranberry Galette for dessert. Or perhaps, after the meal, you’re going to have some laughs playing one of our Chanukah games.

No matter what you plan for your evening, sometimes it’s the small things that make that table all the more inviting, and the night memorable.

This winter-inspired table will do just that!

Ok, now for the details. We were initially inspired by these rechargeable table lamps that are so, so practical. It’s elegant table decor you can enjoy over and over. It’s a great way to add “light” to your table on Chanukah. Put three down the center of your table…or 8! They’re super elegant when the lights are shut as well. 

There’s so many well-priced options. We also like the version with the round base.

Or these with an added wicker shade option (also great for a summer look when you want to change it up). Now let’s go from the bottom up. We loved this taupe Velvet Ribbed Tablecloth so much we didn’t want to give it back after Devorah Rubin from Adorn Your Table lent it to us for this photoshoot. The Taupe Chenille is another option that would work great here. 

What’s that plaid tablerunner? It’s scarves! But they work so perfectly to set the mood. A little bit of wood accents like these little birds adds a nice touch.

The dishes are our favorite Mercer Dinnerware from Crate and Barrel that we use every single day. These wood slices are a nice option for place card holders – add your guests names.

Any black flatware works well here. Additional little accents like these wooden beads with tassels are another option. 

The centerpiece is our favorite H&M Stoneware Vases – they’re so well-priced and it doesn’t take a lot of florals to fill them (do you own them already? Take them back out!) H&M always stocks different interesting, organic stoneware vases at nice prices. Mix and match them. 

A wood tray adds some warmth to our centerpiece.
