Some are more stubborn than others, but removing stickers is always a tedious job nonetheless. Here’s three ways to make it easier.
One of the most annoying things when toiveling (dipping) dishes is to try to get those stickers off. Two years ago we posted a hack on how to toivel flatware and we thought it was time to tackle those pesky stickers. (Side note: Those Home Goods and T J Maxx ones are the worst ones!)
Step number one is to remove all stickers at home. Where you can sit while you do it and your fingertips are warm (that mikvah water is always freezing!)
1.Goo Gone may be the one product that really has no competition.
Buy Goo Gone click here. For Goo Gone Spray Gel (recommended) click here.
2. Don’t have Goo Gone or looking for a more natural way to remove stickers? We tested a few different ways and these two are our top contenders.
3. Mix an equal amount of oil and baking soda and spread on the sticker. Let sit. Rub and use a plastic card to scrape off.
Just soaking it in water works well to!
pour on rubbing alcohol and let it sit for a minute. then just rub the sticker off. (side note–this works great for stickers that accidentally went through the wash & dryer!)
Such useful tips thank you!
wd40 is way better than anything written above. that and/or scraping with a razor (on glazed surfaces).
