Looking for kosher entertainment this midwinter break? How about a video rental?
The last time we covered this topic, it was in the early days of Covid when we were all desperate for something – anything – wholesome with which to entertain our kids. But recently the topic came up about how the quality and quantity of Jewish videos have really gone up. And we figured midwinter break (especially during this very cold weather!) is a great time to treat our kids to a video rental.

We turned to someone in the know for recommendations from Mostly Music’s new video section. She told us there are lots of great options, but the first two she’d recommend are Ladies of Loganberry Lane – Episode 2 (Episode 1 is available here, but episode 2 is more popular) for girls and Ari and Friends for the boys.

For high school age girls, she also recommends Gold Rush and Salento. Happily Ever Laughter is good for upper elementary girls.
EDITED TO ADD:
Mostly Music saw this post and reached out to offer code BCP10 for 10% off all videos!

The prices listed on all rentals are for 1-5 viewers so this is a great activity for a few sisters or friends to do together without spending on individual admission fees.
And, of course, if you’re looking for entertainment for younger kids, you know how much we love Toveedo! (Make sure to use code BCP.)

Oh!
Don’t forget the popcorn!
Not much of a videos fan for my kids but when we need there’s an adorable website called bubbystories.com it’s a frum Bubby who reads books!
