Boys Clothes for Camp

Wondering what they’ll want to wear in camp? We’ve got this covered!

Note: This post is mostly relevant to boys attending chareidi style camps.

When we talk about packing for camp, we tend to focus on the girls. With good reason – girls tend to be much more into fashion and trends than boys are. But the boys definitely do have some clothing needs and preferences, and we’re here to help you cover the bases. (For the other kind of bases, you’ll want to see our post about sports equipment.)

We have a post to help you shop for sneakers, but we do focus on black ones. If your son’s camp allows it, he might prefer a more colorful option. And if you need help choosing joggers, we have some more info for you.

Quince

Bamboo Jersey Lounge Jogger

These Quince bamboo jersey lounge joggers are the softest pants our big boys wear as pajamas. For kids’ sizes, these are also super comfy and these are a cozy warm option.

Quince

Bamboo Jersey Relaxed Lounge Tee

If your guys wear pajama tops, this is the one we mix and match with the pants above. And this is a kid size pick.

OLD NAVY

Lightweight Jersey-Knit Joggers

Another great soft and super comfortable option – and they go on sale often.

Quince

Italian Swim Trunks

This swimsuit from Quince is available in multiple inseam lengths.

Mens Swim Trunks

This swimsuit comes in lots of prints and solids – from conservative to cartoonish.

Amazon Essentials

Men's Slim-Fit Quick-Dry Swim Tee

Don’t forget a swim shirt – they probably won’t wear it but at least you did your part to avoid the sunburn.

Pillow Slippers

Everyone is loving these slides – guys and girls.

HIS PLACE

This terry robe is a heavyweight luxe quality that will hold up. Available in boys sizes, too.

HIS PLACE

These t-shirts feature a heavier weight fabric and nice flat seams – really elevated and look nice under a davening jacket.

abercrombie kids

100% cotton essential icon crew tee

You can’t go wrong with these solid t-shirts. The sizes go up to 17/18.

UNIQLO

AIRism Cotton Pique Full Open Polo Shirt

This button down t-shirt is comfortable and dress code friendly! Available in an XXS, this will work for younger boys who need white shirts.

HIS PLACE

T.O Men's Patch Pocket Performance Blazer

Washable davening jacket that’s stretchy and comfortable – absolutely perfect for summer camps and travel.

HIS PLACE

T.O. Men's Slim Jogger Pants

These joggers are high quality and expensive looking. The best part? They come in short sizes. If you have a short (5’8” or less) guy in your life, you probably know that joggers are very tricky to find because they all have too much fabric and get baggy. These are a game changer!

GYMSHARK

Arrival Joggers

Teen boys like the lightweight feel of these joggers.

UA Golf

These Under Armour pants look like regular dress pants but are tech fabric – another one our boys are loving for summer comfort. Note – they are much cheaper at the outlet if you can get to one.

FABLETICS

The Don 5-Pocket Pant

These Fabletics pants also look like regular pants – but super lightweight, comfortable and stretchy. Available in short and long sizes, slim and regular fits. The Fabletics shopping model can be annoying, but it’s worth setting up the VIP account to do some seasonal shopping.

FABLETICS

The One Jogger

The One Jogger from Fabletics is also available in a wide range of sizes – our boys really like these.

Quince

Performance Tech Pant

These kids’ size stretch pants are a great Shabbos play option – they look dressy but move like tech pants. Buy two pairs and get 20% off for a great value, too!

Nike Crew Socks

If your son likes crew socks, these classics from Nike can’t go wrong. These Adidas are available in kids sizes and mens sizes.

Originals Trefoil 2.0 Quarter

If he prefers shorter socks, these quarter crew socks also come in black. Kids’ sizes are also available.
