Winter break is the perfect time to create a special craft. This Fruit Art is easy and it comes out really cute!
There’s something about a black background—anything painted on in it just pops! For this project, we painted a simple fruit shape on a black canvas with metallic paint from Amazing Savings. The results are yummm!
What you will need:
Black canvas ( Michael’s) or canvas and black paint
Metallic or regular paint and paintbrushes
Metallic Sharpie
How to do it:
- Outline a simple fruit shape on the canvas using a pencil. Or print out a template, cut out the pieces, and trace on canvas. (If you are using a white canvas, first paint black and let dry.)
- Paint fruit and let dry. Use metallic sharpie (or a thin paintbrush and gold paint) to write Yum! or Sweet!
