Crawling Babies & Dirty Knees

As adorable as your baby’s crawling stage is, it can be hard on clothing and knees. Here’s one easy solution.

Your baby is crawling all over the house and his stretchie is getting dirty. By the time you’re ready to leave, it’s practically grey.

Or, he’s wearing a skimpier summer outfit without legs, and he’s crawling around…and those knees are getting scratched…ouch!

Or, perhaps you want to spend time outdoors. You’re watching him to make sure he doesn’t go where he shouldn’t, but he’s definitely getting into more dirt than he did when he simply sat in his bouncer. After all, he’s crawling and discovering.

The solution is simpler than you think. Simply keep a pair of leggings on him when you’re at home. This will protect his clean outfit and protect his knees.

Then, when you’re ready to go out, simply peel them off and he’s clean and ready to go. No grey or scratchy knees!

Do you put a pair of leggings on when he’s outdoors too?

If baby will be crawling on the lawn or porch, then i do keep them on as it protects their knees outdoors in addition to help avoiding stains. Then when we’re off to go shopping etc. I take them off.

if you put on a pair if tights or leggings with feet it protects the tips of the stretchie too

How do you get the stains out once it already happened? I find it so hard to get those stains out of some stretchies so I avoid buying light colors once they learn to crawl but I really like them and want to be able to buy them!

But I want my baby to look cute at home too! I don’t only dress my kids up for other people to see! If they’re wearing black leggings all day then what’s the point of cute stretchies?
Any other solutions that don’t involve covering their clothing?
