This stuff is really good. Whether you like honey on its own or with some heat, you’ll find yourself reaching for Streit’s Sweet Honey or Hot Honey Seasoning Blends all season long.
Everyone loves honey. But it’s not always so practical to cook with. It’s sticky. It burns. It’s hard to distribute if you want to coat a side dish evenly.

This seasoning blend from Streit’s is brilliant. It’s like the flavor of honey, or the flavor of honey and hot sauce (a staple) in an easy-to-shake jar. We tried it and were hooked, and found ourselves turning to it to flavor so many dishes.
Add it to the panko or cornflake crumbs when making schnitzel, add it to mayonnaise to make a great dip…we can keep going! These are flavors we never get tired of. Here’s a peak at some of the ways we’ve been using it.

Since we enjoy hot popper sauce on potatoes, the first obvious choice was to use the Hot Honey Seasoning Blend on roasted potatoes.

We combined diced potatoes, a red onion, some oil, and seasoned generously with salt and Hot Honey.

Roast at 425℉ until golden and crispy (the time depends on how small you’ve diced your potatoes, usually approximately 40-45 minutes). There couldn’t be an easier way to get such flavor!

Once we tried potatoes, how about cauliflower? There’s also customers for this lighter side dish.

We seasoned this cauliflower with some onion soup mix and the Sweet Honey Seasoning Blend. Toss with a bit of oil or cooking spray and roast for 25-30 minutes at 425℉.

Yum. For real. Eaten straight off the tray.

Our favorite way to enjoy the Hot Honey Seasoning Blend, though, was the easiest of all. We added it to freshly popped popcorn. First, spray the popcorn with nonstick cooking spray so that the seasoning sticks.

Then, just shake it on and enjoy your popcorn! This is a new favorite!
