We use them so often, why not get a set that we like?
Whenever I post about something I am cooking or baking in my kitchen, inevitably someone will ask me for a link to the measuring cups. Or spoons.
And I completely understand that. It took me a while to find the perfect set as well. Somehow, I have gone through a fair share of different measuring cups and spoons to know that not all work the same way.
I prefer metal to plastic (true, you need to toivel them, but it’s well worth it). And I prefer sets that have all the measurements possible like, for example, ⅔ of a cup. They’re very useful when doubling recipes.

I’m always on the lookout for sets that include a 2 T spoon or cup. I find it to be an extremely helpful size… also a cup that shows the 3/4 mark…!
any good recommendation for a wet measuring cup that has all the measurements? and which is better, glass or plastic?

The first. I own the 2nd and within a few washings the wording was gone. They’re kind of useless now…

They wash better and They don’t Stain
Always ALWAYS make sure to get ones with the measurements engraved or raised, not printed! The most annoying thing is trying to guess what size cup you have after the ink has worn off.
I have a measuring cup set that has 2 measurements in 1 like half cup measuring cup has an indent in the middle for the quarter cup. They’re quite worn out but can’t figure out where I got them! Anyone can help??
I have a set like that from oxo i got in bb&b years ago. Black plastic. I keep the 1/4 in the sugar and the 1/2 in the flour.
