    How can we forget about Drama located in Flatbush (can also order from website)-whole store is catering to plus sizes They have so many great options for stunning better wear that is extremely flattering on!

    Also, believe it or not, TARGET! they have a very nice selection, i always find many options there, & no one can tell where it comes from…

    My experience with old navy was that their plus sizes run very big. you generally should size down. I’ve had many times where I ordered in the size I get from most other places and it came pretty big.
    They really revamped their whole sizing across the board and almost all their stuff will work for plus size

    Tell me if I’m wrong but this post reeks of being written by straight size women for plus size women. It feels like you googled “plus size women’s clothing” and copy-pasted the first 15 websites that came up. “You can look as great as everyone else” is the most condescending, patronizing way to start off. Am I wrong? Was a single plus size woman hired/paid to help you with this post?

      I agree. Also with most of these stores the clothing needs alterations to be modest. There are so many great Jewish owned companies to buy from at many price points and the clothing is ready to wear. To name a few that I have bought from… Esteez, mimu maxi, wukogals, the Frock,.

        Help! Any frum tween plus-size? My tall, sweet 8 yr old looks like she’s 14 yrs old, and is a plus on top (outgrew all size 20 in frum sizes, and women’s XS, S, M in frum clothing is also too tight! Forget how long the sleeves and bodies of shirts go in womens sizes… they look ridiculous on her 🙁 She’s a size 14 kids on bottom because she’s lanky from waist down,- yes, we’re working with an endocrinologist to figiure out what’s going on- but B’H needs length in all short skirts, so she’s wearing 16. You can imagine how B’H challenging it is to find ANY tznius clothing that fits!!).

        Can anyone PLEASE recommend dresses and/or sets or separates that are plus-size on top somehow?? I see there’s a lot of plus-size tznius women’s clothing, but a gap in the market for tweens and teens. Any ideas? I’d appreciate any leads so that 1) I can put clothing in her empty drawers and 2) she can wear clothing that’s age-appropriate and feel amazing about herself <3

      Agree. There are fabulous plus size stores today that cater to the modest woman. My dream dress, in Boro Park, drama in Flatbush, and more. Some of the sites bcp recommended are really not good options. They are cheap quality and don’t fit well.
      I wonder if a true plus size woman was consulted for this post.

      I agree. I’m plus size and 90%. Of my cloths are bought online in target and macys. Their full plus size line is not carried in stores and therefore to find anything nice you need to go online. As for Jewish clothing stores their largest plus size marked as a 4x is usually a size 1x. I recently lost a little weight due to life circumstances (I did not try) and since I’m now a 1x I can fit into some clothing from some stores that carry bigger sizes. And of course I need to buy the 4x.

    I am plus size and have found so many nice buys on amazon! What’s best is that I can easily return if something does not fit right. It helps that there are often pictures and comments of similar sized women who tried the clothes and reviewed them. Amazon also carries a lot of nice plus size dresses.

    I purchase most of my skirts from frum tznius stores (I live in Israel and there are quite a few of those here that carry large sizes) but nearly all of my Shabbos and Yomtov tops are from amazon.

    I recently purchased this gorgeous Shabbos skirt. As for tops, I suggest fellow plus size ladies search on amazon for the companies LEEBE, Timeson, BAISHENGGT. And just in general put in plus size tops and see what has good reviews…

    Fame on central has plus size but just recently their teen clothing comes in plus size. My teen daughter is so happy because now she does not have to wear woman’s clothing and she is wearing the same outfits that girls her age are wearing. sorority also has nice plus size clothing that i buy for myself

    You can add Aleeza Paris, opening at The Marketplace in Monsey, to the list. Monarch, formerly Ruthie’s in Monsey has plus size. Natalie at The Atrium runs to size 26. Exquisite in Monsey carries up until size 20.
