The process began with many mashgichim visiting the dairy farms in Europe to supervise the runs of heavy cream, milk, butter, and cheeses. But sourcing the quality ingredients was only the first step. Most other shelf stable dairy sauces are stabilized by adding preservatives or acids. But–that results in an acidified taste.
Tuscanini wanted their sauces to only taste just like fresh sauce. They had to taste creamy and utilize only fresh, pure ingredients–and be something you wouldn’t hesitate to feed your family.
