This Lip Mask Is My Favorite Makeup And Self Care Product Right Now

This lip mask is the reason I haven’t purchased any lip gloss in forever.

Sometimes, you need to raid your teenagers makeup drawer to discover new things.

Yes, I am fully aware that the tables have turned and the child who used to go into my makeup drawer has turned into a teenager who knows what to buy at Sephora and has picked up many good products. And yes, I am fully aware that I am giving away my age here. That’s nothing to be ashamed of. (I shall recommend an anti-wrinkle cream next.)

Anyway, I’m not sure if it was the constant mask-wearing or winter air in general, but I found myself suffering with chapped lips all the time. Nothing worked. I applied chapstick constantly. Everything I used to do to alleviate the problem was for some reason, not working.

My daughter suggested I try her lip mask (love how fancy that sounds!) and I did. I applied a layer before bed and was amazed how it was still on come morning. And my lips? Cured. Smooth and soft.

I also loved the shade of the mask, which, in turn, became my go-to lip gloss. Yes, I kid you not. It goes on easy, stays put (unlike traditional lip gloss) and gives you that touch of pink and shine without adding too much. You know, the no-makeup-I-woke-up-like-this-look.
If only.

Come summer, I know I will be using this as lip gloss even more. I keep one tub in the car and one in my room.

You can get yours at Sephora (see here)

or on Amazon (see herefor a few dollars less.

I own both and although the one from Amazon seems a tad different (some might say it’s a knock off) it’s really the same exact thing and works just as well. I personally do not see a difference.

I asked someone in the Star-K and he told me it doesn’t need a hechsher but ask your LOR.

This product includes grape juice as an ingredient in all of its flavors which may pose a problem of yayin nesach. Please ask your LOR before using it. The Star-K does not recommend using this product.

Beis horah Lakewood told its fine. I’ve been using it for 2 years it’s the only lip gloss I own! I have also for the car and dab some extra when I run out. Note they sell it on a tube good for Fanny packs!

Hi, I recently discovered this one W7 Sweet Dreams Overnight… https://amzn.to/42UuF97
Compared to the Laneige it’s way more hydrating and creamier.
    Plus- it’s really plumping
