Over the years I’ve found a few products that make the daily upkeep easier. Some of them aren’t the cheapest options, and not necessarily the best environmentally friendly choices, but some may just provide that bit of extra help you need. Choose the ones that work for you. It might be one, it might be all, but I hope it helps you get the house clean just a little easier.

This wand comes with a caddy full of disposable cleaning pads. No need to touch anything nasty – you just press the wand down on a fresh pad and it clicks into place. Use it to scrub the toilet and click the release button to drop it right into the garbage can. Keep one near each toilet and teach the kids how to use them. It’s easy enough for an 8-year-old! Stock up on refills!

Use the swiffer dry to dust mop – works great on a tiled bathroom floor. Catches all the dust, hair and lint. Works great on hardwood, too. Use the wet pads to clean the bathroom floor quickly, or to clean a small area. It’s not great for washing a full kitchen floor, but if you want to do a quick touch-up, or want to clean around the baby’s high chair, it’s perfect. Make sure to get refills of both the dry and wet pads.

This extending wand comes with disposable dusting “brushes”. Easily clean the tops of the walls, over the door frames, high shelves – and then just slip the “brush” in the garbage. Don’t forget your refills!

These wipes will keep your counters shiny and clean without too much effort. I like to use these and then follow with a dry microfiber towel.

When you need a quick touch up and don’t want to deal with the silver polish mess, these gloves do the trick. Just put them on and rub at the tarnished spots and your silver will look better instantly.

And one more thing – Barkeeper’s Friend can be your friend, too. Use it to keep your sink clean and also to scrub the blackened bits on top of your stove.
My robot vacuum is a life saver.. the thing just goes around and picks up endless dirt while I do nothing.. or everything else. Worth every penny.

Great line up! I’m a fan of most of these, haven’t tried the wipes yet, will add them to my cart & try them out. Swiffer also makes a swiffer vac, it charges & works as a swiffer with a vacuum, so you get the sweeping & swiffering done in one go.
Along the lines of cleaning tips, to get a very dirty microwave clean , I put 1 cup water with 1/2 cup vinegar in microwave safe bowl and turned it on for about 6 minutes till you see it bubbling and fogging up. Then let it cool down for 5 minutes, take it out and just wipe the microwave clean! Amazing!
Something that I love and am grateful to the person who shared it with me is downy wrinkle release. When making a bed you spray a nice amount on top of the blanket and then pull the blanket tight on all sides. It makes the linen look as if it was just ironed and smells like it was just washed!!
