Yes, You Did Accomplish This Month

Do you ever get to the end of the month and say to yourself, “What did I do this past month?” Take a moment to recap, regroup, and charge forward

…Or have you ever stuck to old routines or habits simply because you never stopped to question if they were working for you?

Sometimes we’re so busy hustling, we don’t give ourselves enough time to reflect. We live our lives in reactive mode, getting caught up in the details. Taking a few moments to check-in at the end of the month can help us pause, zoom out, and gain insights into our family life, our work, our personal growth. Just a few moments each month can help us cultivate a sense of gratitude for what went well, feel proud of our choices, and leave behind what isn’t serving us.

Putting it on Paper

Thinking about these questions in your mind is a great start, putting them down on paper will help you go through your thoughts with more clarity.

I’ve prepared a monthly review printable in a letter size (8.5”x11”) and a smaller size (5”x8”) that fits into an average notebook. Feel free to print it and fill it out each month!

I use a bullet journal to keep track of my tasks, and at the end of the month, I will sometimes include a monthly review with some of the questions from the list above. Here are some examples of how you can set up a monthly review in your bullet journal (or any other notebook) so it feels fun to fill out. All you need is a notebook, a black pen and a marker or two.

Are some of the above questions not relevant for you? Here are more ideas of questions you can ask yourself to get thinking. Choose the ones that work for you, and feel free to come up with your own!
