You Don’t Need a Handyman to Hang These Modern-Looking Hooks

You can simply stick these modern hooks on the wall.

You need some hooks. Whether it be inside the coat closet for the kid’s sweatshirts or a tote bag (or those masks!), or inside your own closet for some belts (or the clothing you don’t want to hang up right away), they’re useful in many parts of the home.

I have one inside a kitchen cabinet for my car keys (my husband called it “the best home improvement ever”). I have some in my teenage boys’ bedrooms because boys do not hang up jackets or anything, and the hooks (sometimes) prevent things from simply being thrown on various surfaces.

You don’t need to drill a hole in the wall, neither do you need to call a handyman to hang up a simple hook. And you can do better than Command hooks! These are modern, well-priced, and you simply stick them up.

Note – The most sticky surface area, the more weight your hook will hold. I use them for the preschool backpacks, but not the older children’s heavy backpacks.

It’s a good idea to use a picture leveler when hanging them.

There are so many styles! Here are some picks to get you started:

Square Stainless Steel Hooks

These look fabulous on the wall.

Stainless Square Hooks

I have these in my boys’ rooms. They’ve been up for years.

Bulk Pack Hooks

These are smaller hooks that are good for very lightweight items (sweatshirts, car keys). They’ll fall off if you try to hang heavier items.

Towel & Robe Hooks

Chic for the bathroom.

Toilet Paper Holder

Do you have a bathroom missing a toilet paper holder forever because it’s just to much effort to get one installed? Not anymore. Stick it on. (Here’s an alternate modern design.)

Gold Hooks

Is gold a better fit for your decor?

Black Hooks

There is also a complete selection of black hooks!

FYI it says these hooks will not work on painted walls… if you find any that do I would love that option (not command hooks).

I love how these modern hooks offer a simple yet stylish solution for organizing items around the house without needing a handyman. They’re versatile enough for coats, bags, and even keys, making them a practical addition to any space. Thanks for sharing this handy tip!
