You’ll Love This Garment Bag Hack When Packing

Often, less is more. Sure, a suit bag is great, but this neat hack is sometimes better, and for a few reasons:

  1. Rip and toss the bag once you arrive at your destination.
  2. You can bunch up more clothes together at a time than with a suit bag.
  3. You don’t need to find that suit bag you stashed somewhere.

This hack is quick and easy. Use a kitchen trash bag with the opening on the bottom for longer clothes (you’ll make your own slit at the top). Use a kitchen trash bag with the opening on top for shorter clothes (shirts and skirts) and to catch anything that might fall.

Bonus: Label the bag with a Sharpie.

    Ha!
I never knew lil ol me was so ahead of the game! Growing up without suit bags, this is how we traveled! I’m waiting for the sister-hack post…leave the suitcase, use a shopping bag lol!

We find suitcases bulky, so we pack in those big Osher Ad bags we once got from Israel…
