All the Gordon korman McDonald hall books are great!!
My favorite at that age was The Series of Unfortunate Events

I got my kids into reading with the first few Harry Potters and was looking for other choices- great options!

Beverly Cleary’s and the Littles set are also great.

Any good Jewish reads?
This is an important age to segue readers to frum books, if possible. I was raises on these books, but then I went onto teen novels, so many of which I wish I had not exposed myself to.
