It’s super simple, couldn’t be easier to recreate, and looks beautiful no matter what.
Some of the best hacks and ideas have come from readers like you. Sometimes the brilliant things that you do are so simple–but it’s precisely that simplicity that makes it work for everyone!
Sometimes, those simple but brilliant ideas come from our contributors.
Over the years we’ve featured Devorah Rubin’s tablesettings. Devorah owns Adorn Your Table and she has shared some beautiful tablescapes here on BCP.
Last Chanukah Devorah posted a simple idea that we thought all of you will love and so we’re sharing it here.
It’s a Chanukah chocolate coin napkin ring. It’s a simple idea, simple to recreate, but looks amazing. So why not?
Start by folding your napkin
into a triangle.
Flip the napkin over and crisscross a ribbon over the top corner. It’s best to use a ribbon that is the same on both sides, however any should work. For our ribbon roundup see this post, or this one with more gift-wrapping supplies.
Using a hot glue gun, glue the ribbon to each other
so it stays in place.
Glue the chocolate coin
over the ribbon and let dry!
That’s it! Simple and adorable!
We used a glue gun, but Devorah thought it may work with glue dots too. Choose a ribbon to match your table style.
You can get fringed linen napkins like these over here but we think the linen napkins available over here are a much better deal.
