We believe in simple no-fuss packaging (see this post for some practical ideas). Even with the most basic of boxes or bags (and that’s all you really need), often, it’s just the ribbon that pulls it together and makes the whole package look so inviting.
And if you don’t want to turn to grosgrain ribbon again, there are lots of beautiful and unique options out there.

Twill is a great ribbon option. It’s thick and more substantial than grosgrain and you get a lot of yardage for the money.

Twine is one of the most cost effective ways to tie up a box. And it doesn’t to be so boring. You can also get metallic versions here.
Another cost effective material, raffia doesn’t need to be plain beige anymore. It can be any color and look really cool!
Note that you will need to tie around a few times to get the effect.
