First, we brought you Dinner Done. Now comes the newest way BCP makes your life easier: The BCP Sweatshirt.
After about 18 months of development and brainstorming, it’s finally here and ready to ship.
What do we do first? Put down the baby (she won’t let). Plug in the phone? Get the pizza out of the oven? We realized we needed some multitasking help.
So, we discussed.
Four years ago, we launched our first product, the BCP x Lil Legs bibs when we realized that we needed something that was functional without sacrificing cuteness (you remember those ugly but practical towel bibs we used to use? Yom Tov outfits and ugly towels on top just didn’t work). Now, it was time to figure out another product that would fill a need.
This time, it would be something to help the multitasking mom.
There were more features some members of our team requested: Some of us don’t like dragging around their big bottles of water. They thought it would be great if there was a water pouch built in.
Others thought it was essential to have a place to keep our car keys. Or ponytail holders for our girls. Some of us are also avid travelers, and thought that the eye mask/neck pillow functions would be great.
No, we didn’t all need every single one of these features. But there was one thing we all agreed on: pockets shouldn’t simply be “pockets.” They should be pockets designed with specific uses.
Some of us had an issue with the “hoodie” style. While we didn’t want to get rid of the hood altogether (the hood would be very useful for traveling and wearing in rainy weather), our designer came up with an innovative compromise–the hood would be detachable, much like it is on your coat.
So, if you want a hoodie, you can use it as a hoodie. But if you want to feel a little more put together and still enjoy the conveniences of your sweatshirt, you can take it off.
We gave all these mockups to our manufacturers and eagerly awaited the samples.
We weren’t quite sure how it was going to turn out. But it exceeded our expectations! Our sweatshirt wasn’t only super practical, it was cozy too!

And here she is!
Only limited stock available.
Thank you Rachel Adler for the mock-up/renderings of the BCP sweatshirt!
